You will own the delivery other people find difficult — multi-team engagements, programmes where scope was agreed before the detail existed, and recoveries where the plan has already slipped. You will also shape how delivery is run here and mentor the specialists doing it.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery for the largest and most complex customer engagements.
- Design the delivery approach: phasing, dependencies, acceptance strategy, and risk posture.
- Lead recovery of engagements that have slipped, including replanning with the customer.
- Negotiate scope and change with customer stakeholders and with internal teams.
- Work with account leads on the commercial consequences of delivery decisions.
- Define delivery standards: plan structure, status reporting, acceptance evidence, and handover.
- Mentor delivery specialists on planning, escalation, and customer conversations.
- Feed structural delivery problems back into how ByteGurus scopes and sells work.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5-7 years in service delivery or project management for enterprise software or technical services.
- Experience owning a multi-team engagement end to end, including acceptance.
- A record of recovering a delivery that was going wrong.
- Skilled at scope and change negotiation with senior customer stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of how contractual commitments translate into delivery obligations.
- Technical literacy across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, IT, or business discipline.
Nice to Have
- Delivery experience in banking, payments, or another regulated sector.
- Experience with platform migrations or system replacements.
- Familiarity with pre-sales and how scope is estimated before it is committed.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
