You will lead the service operations team and own how ByteGurus runs what it has delivered: the processes, the monitoring, the reporting, and the improvement agenda behind them. Your success is measured in operational problems that stop coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of service operations specialists and own their delivery commitments.
- Own the operations process framework across support, field, coordination, and delivery.
- Set the service reporting the business and its customers run on, and stand behind the numbers.
- Own the improvement portfolio: what gets worked on, in what order, and what it is worth.
- Define the monitoring and operational readiness standard for services entering run.
- Chair problem review and drive cross-team corrective action to closure.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop specialists; run reviews and progression plans.
- Report operational performance and operational risk to leadership and customer stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7-10 years in service operations or service management, including at least two leading a team.
- Experience owning an operations function across multiple service lines.
- Strong command of service management practice and of the data behind it.
- Proven cross-team influence: you have made other teams change how they work.
- People leadership: hiring, coaching, performance, and development.
- Experience presenting operational performance to executive and customer audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, IT, or business discipline.
Nice to Have
- Experience building an operations function rather than inheriting one.
- A background in regulated or high-availability environments.
- SRE or platform operations experience alongside classic service management.
- A formal service management or improvement certification.
