You will lead the service delivery team and own the portfolio it carries — whether ByteGurus delivers what it agreed, on the terms it agreed. You set how delivery is run, hold the escalations, and grow the specialists who do the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of service delivery specialists and own the portfolio they deliver.
- Own delivery commitments across assigned customers and report on them to leadership.
- Allocate delivery ownership across the team based on complexity and capacity.
- Take escalations on engagements at risk and decide the recovery approach.
- Own the delivery method: governance, planning standards, acceptance, and handover to run.
- Work with account and pre-sales teams so what is committed is deliverable.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop delivery specialists; run reviews and progression plans.
- Drive structural improvements where the same delivery problem keeps recurring.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7-10 years in service delivery or programme management, including at least two leading a team.
- Experience owning a delivery portfolio and its commitments, not a single engagement.
- Strong escalation judgement and a record of turning around at-risk delivery.
- People leadership: hiring, coaching, performance, and progression.
- Credibility with executive customer stakeholders and with internal engineering leads.
- Experience shaping delivery governance and making it stick.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, IT, or business discipline.
Nice to Have
- Portfolio delivery experience in regulated industries.
- Involvement in pre-sales scoping and commercial structuring.
- Experience introducing a delivery method into a growing organisation.
- Programme management certification.
