Apply for this Position Position Overview
You will own the analysis for a customer engagement: running the workshops, drawing the line between what the product already does and what has to be built, and writing the specification engineers work from. Your output is what everyone else's estimate depends on.
Key Responsibilities
- Run requirements workshops with customer business and technical stakeholders.
- Produce gap analyses between the customer's requirements and existing product capability.
- Write functional specifications covering data, process, and integration requirements.
- Model the current business process and the target-state process the solution will support.
- Define acceptance criteria and the UAT scenarios that prove them.
- Work with engineers on feasibility, effort, and the consequences of a requirement.
- Maintain traceability from requirement through specification to acceptance.
- Support UAT and revise specifications where the customer's understanding has moved.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years as a business or software solution analyst on enterprise software projects.
- Experience running requirements workshops and handling contradictory stakeholder input.
- Strong specification writing — unambiguous, testable, and complete enough to build from.
- Working SQL and the ability to read a relational data model.
- Understanding of API-based integration and what it implies for a requirement.
- Able to refuse a requirement that will not work, and explain why.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, IT, or management information systems discipline.
Nice to Have
- Domain knowledge in custody banking, payments, IAM, or e-commerce.
- Experience with BPMN or UML modelling.
- Exposure to multi-tenant platforms and configuration-versus-customisation decisions.
- Familiarity with agile requirement formats alongside formal specifications.
What You'll Gain
- Competitive salary.
- Hybrid working — a mix of office and remote days, with time on customer sites where the work needs it.
- Annual learning budget for books, courses, and conferences.
- Top-tier hardware and software tooling.
- Private health insurance and flexible time off.
