This internship is for a student or recent graduate who wants to learn frontend engineering by shipping real interfaces. You will work on well-scoped UI tasks in React and TypeScript, with a mentor reviewing your work and explaining the reasoning behind it.
Key Responsibilities
- Build small React components from existing designs under the guidance of a mentor.
- Write TypeScript that passes the project's type checks and lint rules without shortcuts.
- Fix visual and responsive bugs across breakpoints and browsers.
- Connect components to existing APIs and handle loading and error states.
- Learn how the team handles accessibility: semantic markup, keyboard focus, and labelled controls.
- Take part in code reviews and design walkthroughs, first as a listener and then as a contributor.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Some exposure to React, from a course project or an app of your own.
- Familiarity with Git and the idea of branches and pull requests.
- An eye for detail: you notice when spacing or alignment is off.
Nice to Have
- Any TypeScript experience, however small.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or another utility-first styling approach.
- A deployed personal project you can walk us through.
- English good enough to read technical documentation comfortably.
