Apply for this Position Position Overview
We're looking for a frontend engineer who owns interfaces end to end, from the design handoff to the performance numbers a week after release. You will work in React and Next.js and be accountable for how the result feels on a mid-range phone, not just on your laptop.
Key Responsibilities
- Own frontend features end to end: implementation, every state, tests, release, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain React and Next.js applications in TypeScript with strict typing.
- Extend the shared component library instead of growing a pile of one-off components.
- Make rendering choices between server components, static generation, and client fetching, and justify them.
- Keep Core Web Vitals inside budget: bundle size, image handling, and layout stability.
- Meet accessibility requirements: semantic structure, keyboard paths, focus management, and ARIA where it is needed.
- Write component and end-to-end tests for the flows you own.
- Work directly with designers on the details a specification never captures.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional frontend experience with React.
- Strong TypeScript: you use the type system to prevent bugs, not to satisfy the linter.
- Production experience with Next.js and its rendering and data-fetching models.
- Confident with modern CSS and a utility-first framework such as Tailwind.
- Practical accessibility knowledge that goes beyond adding alt text.
- Ability to profile a slow page and act on what the profile actually shows.
- Comfortable consuming REST and GraphQL APIs and handling their failure modes.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or maintaining a design system.
- Familiarity with Playwright or another end-to-end testing framework.
- Interest in animation and interaction detail work.
- Experience with build tooling and bundle analysis.
What You'll Gain
- Competitive salary.
- Fully remote — work from wherever you're most productive.
- Annual learning budget for books, courses, and conferences.
- Top-tier hardware and software tooling.
- Private health insurance and flexible time off.
