Apply for this Position Position Overview
We're looking for a backend engineer who can own a feature from the first design note to the production incident that follows it. You will work across services in .NET, make day-to-day design calls inside an agreed architecture, and be accountable for how your code behaves under load.
Key Responsibilities
- Own backend features end to end: design, implementation, tests, rollout, and the bugs that follow.
- Build and maintain REST and gRPC services in .NET 10 and C# within a Clean Architecture codebase.
- Model and evolve PostgreSQL schemas, including migrations that run safely against live data.
- Use Redis for caching and Kafka for asynchronous flows between services.
- Instrument what you build with structured logs, metrics, and traces so it can be debugged in production.
- Write unit and integration tests that give the team the confidence to deploy on a Friday.
- Review pull requests from peers and junior engineers with concrete, actionable feedback.
- Take part in investigating production incidents on the services you work on.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional backend experience, ideally with .NET / C#.
- Working knowledge of domain modelling, layered architecture, and dependency injection in practice.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL, including query tuning and index design.
- Experience with at least one of Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ in a running system.
- Comfortable with Docker and able to read a Kubernetes manifest without help.
- Ability to design a REST or gRPC contract that survives its first breaking change.
- Clear written communication in tickets, pull request descriptions, and design notes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CQRS or MediatR-style request pipelines.
- Exposure to Go, Node.js, or Python alongside .NET.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and metrics-driven debugging.
- Experience running migrations against high-traffic tables.
What You'll Gain
- Competitive salary.
- Fully remote — work from wherever you're most productive.
- Annual learning budget for books, courses, and conferences.
- Top-tier hardware and software tooling.
- Private health insurance and flexible time off.
