You will hold technical authority for how ByteGurus solutions are designed across customers — the integration strategy, the architectural standards, and the decisions taken before a contract is signed. You are in the room during pre-sales and still accountable for the design when it goes live.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across the customer portfolio rather than a single engagement.
- Define the integration strategy and the architectural patterns delivery teams build to.
- Act as technical authority in pre-sales: solution shaping, technical risk, and feasibility.
- Set and govern architectural standards, decision records, and design review gates.
- Make the significant trade-off calls on security, scalability, consistency, and cost.
- Resolve architectural conflicts between customer constraints and product direction.
- Mentor solution architects and senior engineers, and grow architectural capability across delivery.
- Shape product roadmap input from what solution architecture repeatedly has to work around.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering and architecture, including several as a solution or enterprise architect.
- Master's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
- Deep distributed systems architecture: microservices, event-driven design, and data consistency.
- Design authority across multiple large enterprise integrations.
- Command of security architecture, identity, and the constraints regulated customers bring.
- Credibility with executive stakeholders in a pre-sales setting.
- A record of architectural decisions that held up years after they were made.
Nice to Have
- Architecture experience in custody banking, payments, or card systems.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and platform productisation.
- A cloud or enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF.
- Public technical writing or conference speaking.
