Position Overview

We're looking for a senior iOS engineer who owns how the app is structured and how it feels. You will set the architecture, hold the bar on device performance and App Store readiness, and mentor the engineers around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the app's architecture: module boundaries, navigation, dependency management, and state.
  • Set SwiftUI conventions and the migration path for the remaining UIKit screens.
  • Own build and release engineering: schemes, signing, provisioning, TestFlight, and submission.
  • Define performance targets - launch time, scrolling, memory, binary size - and hold them across releases.
  • Design offline, sync, and error-handling behaviour for unreliable networks.
  • Set the testing strategy across unit, snapshot, and UI test layers.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior iOS engineers through pairing and design review.
  • Represent iOS platform and privacy constraints in product and API discussions before decisions are locked.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of professional iOS development with deep Swift experience.
  • Expert SwiftUI, plus the UIKit depth to maintain and migrate an established codebase.
  • Strong command of Swift Concurrency, actors, and memory management.
  • Experience designing modular iOS applications with Swift Package Manager or similar.
  • Command of Xcode build configuration, code signing, and release automation.
  • A track record of diagnosing production crashes and performance regressions with Instruments.
  • Clear written communication; able to write technical design docs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or Flutter.
  • Experience with phased App Store releases and review escalations.
  • Work on payments, identity, or media-heavy iOS applications.
  • Contributions to open-source Swift projects.

What You'll Gain

  • Competitive salary.
  • Fully remote — work from wherever you're most productive.
  • Annual learning budget for books, courses, and conferences.
  • Top-tier hardware and software tooling.
  • Private health insurance and flexible time off.
