Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer who owns whole product surfaces rather than tickets. You will make the design calls on both sides of the boundary, decide where complexity belongs, and mentor engineers on whichever side of the stack they are weaker.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design of features that span the interface, the API, and the data model.
- Decide where logic belongs - client, server, or database - and write down the reasoning.
- Design API contracts that hold up as both sides evolve independently.
- Model PostgreSQL schemas and plan migrations that run safely against production data.
- Set the testing strategy across the stack so coverage matches actual risk.
- Own delivery through CI/CD, including the rollout and rollback plan.
- Mentor engineers on the side of the stack where they have less depth.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and to the technical roadmap for your area.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience with real depth on both frontend and backend.
- Production experience with React or Next.js and with .NET, Node.js, Go, or Python.
- Strong PostgreSQL: modelling, performance, and zero-downtime migrations.
- Experience with caching and asynchronous processing using Redis and Kafka or equivalents.
- Comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in a production setting.
- Solid grasp of authentication, authorization, and data protection across the stack.
- Clear written communication; able to write technical design docs.
Nice to Have
- Experience taking a product from zero to production.
- Exposure to gRPC or GraphQL in a service-to-service context.
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
- Experience coaching or leading a small team.
