Lead Software Solution Analyst

You will lead the solution analysis team and own the quality of what it produces — the specifications, the gap analyses, and the estimates built on top of them. You will still lead analysis personally on the engagements that need it most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of solution analysts across concurrent customer engagements.
- Own the analysis quality bar and the review process that enforces it.
- Allocate analysts across engagements by domain, complexity, and capacity.
- Own the analysis method: artefacts, templates, traceability, and acceptance definition.
- Lead analysis personally on the highest-risk engagements.
- Work with delivery and pre-sales so scope is analysed before it is committed.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop analysts; build domain knowledge across the team.
- Drive reuse — turn repeated customer requirements into product capability proposals.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7-10 years in solution or business analysis, including at least two leading a team.
- Experience owning analysis quality across a portfolio of engagements.
- Deep enterprise domain knowledge and the credibility that comes with it.
- Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, performance, and development.
- Experience influencing product direction from patterns in customer requirements.
- Comfort in pre-sales and estimation conversations with commercial consequences.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, IT, or management information systems discipline.
Nice to Have
- Experience building an analysis practice from a small team.
- A regulated-sector background such as banking or payments.
- Familiarity with product management alongside project analysis.
- A business analysis certification such as CBAP.
