Position Overview

We're looking for a lead full-stack engineer to own a product surface and the team delivering it. You will set direction on both sides of the stack, keep writing code, and be accountable for delivery and for the engineers in your workstream.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-stack workstream: architecture, delivery plan, and quality standards.
  • Stay hands-on across the Next.js interface and the .NET or Node.js services behind it.
  • Own the boundary between client and server: contracts, where logic lives, and versioning.
  • Own the data model for your area, including migration strategy under production load.
  • Set testing and release standards across the stack, including the rollback plan.
  • Run design reviews and make the call when the team cannot converge on its own.
  • Grow the engineers in the team through one-to-ones, feedback, and deliberate work assignment.
  • Work with product to sequence a roadmap the team can deliver without cutting corners.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of engineering experience with real depth on both frontend and backend.
  • Experience leading a team's technical direction while remaining hands-on.
  • Production experience with React or Next.js and with .NET, Node.js, Go, or Python.
  • Strong PostgreSQL, Redis, and asynchronous messaging experience.
  • Comfortable owning services on Kubernetes and the pipelines that deploy them.
  • Experience giving direct feedback and helping engineers improve on the back of it.
  • Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders without losing the substance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience hiring and onboarding engineers.
  • Experience taking a product from zero to production and then scaling it.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and owning infrastructure alongside application code.
  • Experience working directly with client stakeholders.

What You'll Gain

  • Competitive salary.
  • Fully remote — work from wherever you're most productive.
  • Annual learning budget for books, courses, and conferences.
  • Top-tier hardware and software tooling.
  • Private health insurance and flexible time off.
