We're looking for a junior QA engineer who is genuinely hard to satisfy with a green screen. You will run and extend test coverage for web and mobile releases, with senior testers guiding how you design cases and report what you find.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional and regression suites for web and mobile releases and record results precisely.
- Write test cases from acceptance criteria for the features assigned to you.
- Run exploratory sessions on new features and report what the scripted cases missed.
- Raise defects with clear reproduction steps, environment details, and evidence attached.
- Verify fixes and confirm that nothing nearby broke in the process.
- Check data-level outcomes with simple SQL queries when the interface does not show the whole truth.
- Keep test documentation current as features change.
Skills & Qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional QA experience, or strong project work if you are just starting.
- Understanding of testing basics: test case design, severity, priority, and regression.
- Ability to write a defect report someone else can reproduce without asking questions.
- Basic SQL for verifying what an action actually wrote.
- Comfortable testing both web and mobile applications.
- Methodical, patient, and willing to keep digging when a bug only appears sometimes.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to API testing with Postman or a similar client.
- Familiarity with a test management tool and a bug tracker.
- Basic scripting ability in any language.
- Interest in moving toward test automation over time.
