The problem

Every new product rebuilds the same foundation before it can ship a single feature: sign-in, organisations and permissions, payments, subscriptions, notifications, an audit trail. Each rebuild costs months and leaves another slightly different implementation to maintain, and enterprise customers ask the same security questions about every one of them.

Our approach

We built that foundation once, as components that are used together or on their own, and build our own products on it. MicroFrame runs in the cloud or on your own servers; product teams spend their time on what makes their product different.

What MicroFrame is

MicroFrame is the platform Byte Gurus builds its products on, offered to software teams as a ready foundation. It provides 28 ready components in six capability groups, runs in the cloud or on your own servers, and is documented in detail at microframe.co.

Components

Identity and access

A standards-based identity platform: OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on and LDAP/Active Directory federation. Authentication is defined in one place for every application.

Tenancy

A central tenant service for multi-tenant products: organisation hierarchies, per-tenant menus, permissions, configuration and resources, isolated by default and managed from one place.

Payments

A provider-agnostic payment layer: one integration in front of six payment channels (PayTR, iyzico, Paddle, LemonSqueezy, Google Play and App Store), so adding or switching a provider does not mean rebuilding checkout.

Subscriptions

Recurring revenue for SaaS, OTT and digital services: plans, trials, upgrades, invoicing and dunning, integrated with the payment and identity layers.

Notifications

One notification infrastructure for e-mail, SMS, push and in-app messages, with templates, scheduling, priority queues and delivery tracking behind a single API.

Built on MicroFrame

Every one of our products is built on MicroFrame:

  • hellobebi (family and baby): live on web, iOS and Android, about four months from first commit to production on all three.
  • Fiyola (short-video OTT): built on MicroFrame.
  • keeplearnin (learning platform): built on MicroFrame, not yet live.
  • MicroCustody (custody banking): in pilot.
  • Pontefy (multi-vendor e-commerce): in development.
  • PKCS smart card systems (public sector and security).
